The iPad 2 is going to be released in March 2nd 2011. Engadget is one of many to receive an invitation to Apple’s release of the iPad 2. Here is a preview of what the iPad 2 may look like:
It is speculated to have the following features:
  • Front facing 1.3mp 720p camera (HD facetime calls & PhotoBooth app to be announced (see below))
  • Rear facing 5mp 720p camera with LED flash (iMovie HD to be released)
  • Dual core 1.4Ghz Apple A4 processor
  • HD retina display (similar to the iPhone 4)
  • 32gb, 64gb or 128gb flash memory
  • Three-axis gyro (previously seen in the iPhone 4 & iPod Touch)
  • Stereo speakers
  • SD card slot
  • Same unibody design as previous generation (therefore will work with current docks and accessories)
  • Built in vibrator (for silent email alerts)
  • 3G model will have the ability to send phone calls

Fscklog has just posted a photo of what they believe are the specs to the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, which should be due out tommorrow:

Here are the specs, translated from German
• 2.3Ghz Sandy Bridge Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processor with a 3MB L3 Cache
• 4GB of DDR3 RAM clocked at 1333MHz
• A 320GB hard drive
• 13.3-inch diagonal LED backlit display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution.
• Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 RAM.
• An integrated FaceTime-HD camera
• An 8x Superdrive
• Two USB 2 ports, an SD card reader, FireWire 800, a MiniDisplay Port, Ethernet and, most interestingly, a Thunderbolt port.
Overall the new Macbook Pro has had a very good makeover, with a very interesting thunderbolt port. One can only hope to gain more information by waiting until tommorrow. Stay tuned to applevine!
